Olivia & Bruce’s whimsical backyard wedding was a beautiful combination of colors, patterns, and unique design details. The bride wanted an Art Deco vibe for her backyard wedding. Olivia’s parent’s home in Virginia provided a gorgeous, open space to create just the look the couple was hoping for under the dreamy white tent. Rich blue draping created a dramatic entrance, while a mix of blue and patterned tablecloths were easy on the eyes. The bride’s Tony Ward fit and flare gown inspired the elegant elements of the day, such as the gold dinnerware, while her love of color inspired the flower choices. Tall, colorful flower arrangements and candlelight added some warmth to the room, while magnolia garland added a southern touch. Art Deco plates, a checkerboard dance floor, and a custom round bar were some of the specialty details that make this wedding stand out.
It was important to the couple that their guests feel pampered and loved. Having food available all night long and a variety of seating options thanks to Paisley & Jade are just a few examples of how they cared for their guests. Congrats again to this sweet couple; I’m so honored to have helped with your special day!
