Rolling hills, a modern farmhouse, and the backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains makes Blue Hill Farm a picturesque venue for a large family wedding. We took advantage of the whole sprawling property for Liz & Tim’s garden wedding: ceremony in the front yard under a lush floral arbor, cocktails in the garden, reception under a cloth tent in the field, and dancing by the carriage house. Pinks and blues with touches of gold kept the wedding colorful yet classic, and the enormous watercolor escort-card display was quite a show-stopper.  Lush floral wreaths hung above the head table and boxes of pink and white flowers adorned each table. Guests enjoyed lemonade slushes in the heat of the day and popsicles later on while the couple cut the cake, while mingling on the vintage lounge furniture in the garden and around the pool. This flower-infused wedding was a joy to plan, and Liz and Tim are perhaps the sweetest couple we’ve had the pleasure of working with.
