Virginia tented wedding in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Planning an outdoor wedding? Looking for tented wedding inspiration? Liz & Tim’s garden wedding had it all: a ceremony in the front yard under a lush floral arbor, cocktail hour in the garden on vintage furniture, reception under a cloth tent in the field, and dancing by the carriage house at Blue Hill Farms. Pinks and blues with touches of gold kept the wedding colorful yet timeless, and the enormous watercolor escort-card display was quite a show-stopper.  Lush floral wreaths hung above the head table and boxes of pink and white flowers adorned each table. Guests enjoyed frozen watermelon lemonade in the heat of the day and popsicles later on while the couple cut the cake. Vintage furniture in the garden and around the pool created several lounge areas.

This flower-infused wedding was a joy and delight to plan. Liz and Tim are one of the sweetest couple we’ve had the pleasure of working with. It’s an honor and thrill to see their Virginia garden wedding published on Southern Weddings! Please enjoy these gorgeous images from Liz Fogarty.
