On a gorgeous spring day, Kristin & Steven were married at one of the newest Virginia wedding venues, Stone Tower Winery. The stunning vineyard boasts ponds, rolling hillsides and gorgeous stone structures. The couple wanted their wedding guests to feel like they had been transported to an amazing Italian winery. We designed a wedding with a Tuscan theme using soft, flowing greenery, citrus accents and dark wood that complimented the Stone Tower venue so well. The florist even cut real olive leaves from her Tuscany home for the bride’s bouquet.
Wedding guests were greeted with clementine Moscow mules and watched the couple say their wedding vows overlooking rows of blossoming vines. Cocktail hour was enjoyed on the veranda, while the wedding reception was held in a modern ballroom decorated with olive branches, kumquats, oranges and lush flowers. Touches of copper from the brides’ collection were used as accents throughout the wedding. The dance floor was packed all night, and guests waved the couple a fun farewell through an exit of sparklers.
We are thrilled to have Kristen & Steven’s wedding published in Washingtonian Bride & Groom Magazine, with photography by the amazing Abby Grace.
