We’re thrilled to share this magical Christmas wedding at the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia, which is featured on Style Me Pretty. Drawing inspiration from the colors of the Greenbrier, we choose pink and green for this winter wedding. Green velvet, a horse drawn carriage, and an actual snowstorm are just a few elements that make this wedding truly magical.
Chock full of Christmas inspiration, no detail was overlooked. Wedding guests are invited to participate in winter activities such as ice skating and sleigh rides. The bride’s gifts for her bridesmaids are under a tinsel tree, and they sip champagne from a hand-painted bottle of Veuve. The bouquets by Holly Chapple are a lush combination of white and pink flowers. The colors pop against the velvet green bridesmaid dresses.
The flower girl is pushed down the aisle in a flower-adorned sleigh, and the newlyweds exit the chapel to a confetti of “snow” and the ringing of jingle bells. The escort cards are displayed on wreaths, and each guest receives a beautiful vintage ornament. Sleigh, nutcracker, and gingerbread cookies cover the dessert table, and the wedding cake is topped with the cutest little snowmen. Guests dance under a garland of greenery, with festive Santa hats and tinsel crowns. Confetti snows down upon the crowd during the final song.
Continuing the magic, guests awake to a winter wonderland as a blizzard had moved in overnight. We get snowed in at the Greenbrier for an extra night and take the most amazing sleigh ride in the snow, a memory that I will cherish forever.
It was such an honor and joy to help C&A celebrate in true Christmas spirit. Enjoy all the beauty captured by Perry Vaile, and check out their feature on Style Me Pretty.
