We’re thrilled to share all the pretty from this summer wedding at Congressional Country Club. Rather than a specific theme, the couple chose to highlight many of their favorite things. A putting green during cocktails and the choice of venue spoke to the couple’s shared enjoyment of golf. A Scotch bar with chocolate pairings highlighted a favorite of the groom, while their signature cocktail was named “the Cville” after The University of Virginia where the couple met.
The color palette of greens, caramel, and white reflected their shared love of the outdoors, with pops of fall tones to match the September wedding. A mix of high and low floral arrangements by Southern Blooms encouraged conversation. A Chesapeake seafood station with some of the couple’s favorite foods was a hit with all the guests. The couple’s favorite part of the night was their band, Rolex, who kept the dance floor packed all night long. Both a color and black & white photo booth were available for guests to capture their own memories, and they gave picture frames as favors. Guests ended the night on a sweet note with individual cake bites. See more of this Congressional Country Club wedding, photos by Jen Fariello, on Washingtonian Weddings.
